Nicaragua - Country of lakes and volcanoes

Nicaragua is one of the largest countries in Central-America. It borders in the North to Honduras, in the South to Costa Rica, in the West to the Pacific Ocean and in the East to the Caribbean Sea.

This marvelous country, which is naturally preserved like Costa Rica, offers its visitors beaches with white sand at the Pacific or Atlantic, tropical rainforest, a peaceful environment for more than 700 different species of birds, and a vast amount of 63 volcanoes.

The country of lakes and volcanoes, which is offering you its hidden treasures, is the heritage of its authentic and hospitable people with their effervesce culture.

The lake of Nicaragua has in its immense amount of water a lot of bigger and smaller islands with volcanic origin, like the island Ometepe. Some of them are unique natural reserves, which keep archeological sites that are forgotten victims of certain volcanic events in the past.

Furthermore, the visitor can discover the whole historical wealth of Nicaragua from its colonial architecture, which stems in the East from British colonization’s and in the West from the Spanish.

Nicaragua is nowadays very calm, untouched and with little tourism.

This country of rainforest, lakes, volcanoes and culture is waiting for you!
